Well how long do you have before you can't return it anymore? Your receipt should tell you, I'd assume. Maybe try to read as much as you can before then, and if you don't like it, return it the day before the receipt expires or whatever, so long as it stays in good condition.

And no, I don't like gore, I'm just trying to recall the HG and I don't remember it being gory is all lmao.

I know, it's like everywhere you look, you see a lot of good comments, or really bad. I dunno if it's one of those things you either love it or hate it.

The first book is nothing compared to the other two. To me, it was nothing but gore...and that's what I'm trying to avoid. Anyway, if you love gore, then you might like the other two books.

I've heard other people give it good reviews, though I've never read it myself.

Hunger Games wasn't gory, though, not really. Not from what I remember. Lmao. I only read the first book of that series though.
