I NEED MORE READERS! - Comments

You have plenty of readers that love what you write. Not always do people leave comments. I should know, I am one that doesn't leave comments very often. But if I really enjoy an update or even if I am asked to leave a comment I do. Don't worry about the comments on a story. Focus on yourself writing them and if you enjoy it. Because if you enjoy it, usually others will too.

Everything that the three below me said, but also remember: write for you and nobody else.

You said you work very hard and spend a lot of time on your chapters, so I'm assuming you don't just spit out the chapter and post it right? You rewrite parts, you edit, you review, etc. Each chapter is another step forward in bettering your writing because you go back and you see things you can change/do better in the newer chapter.

I used to be like that. I wanted to delete absolutely everything because no one was reading them and more often than not, I would. What I suggest is putting them out there more, like go through the blogs and look for people asking for story recommendations and stuff like that. It helps a lot :D

If you like your stories, you should continue with them. You could try participating in comment swaps. You could try the comment swap feature, though it is a tad bit broken right now. If you get caught up in one of the infamous glitches of the system, you could visit the Story Review Thread or even make a blog advertising a comment swap. Comment swaps are good ways to get comments and some of the people may even stay subscribed to your stories. ^^ Some people will also make some free read blogs too looking for recommendations so those are always a good thing to look out for as well.

Don't give up on writing though if you like doing it. Keep your head up, you'll keep improving at writing and getting more readings. You've just got to keep your head held high and keep dong what you like. (:
