So this is my accent challenge which just shows how stupid I sound. - Comments

  • Ahhh!!! You're so cute! Sorry i didn't comment on this before! I've had a busy couple of days, obviously!
    Your accent is NOT weird at all! I love it! Cute
    I love how all of the European staff so far have called them Car parks, and fizzy drinks! (When I do my video, you'll see that other places call them other things!)
    It's so dark in the room you're in, but I really like your scarf that you have on! Cute

    I know! It's health and safety gone completely mad. Echlefechan? I pronounce it eh-kul-feck-un but I don't pronounce most words right. tehe

    That is so bloody ridiculous! Honestly, if you can't do things like that in a joking manner then what the hell is our society changing in to? Haha, yeah, it must be. I wonder how that's pronounced then. Think

    Oh, I know! Some of them are really ridiculous. I got told off for hitting my friend with my bank card the other week at uni because it could be a health and safety risk. I'm sorry, but I'm going to be 19 in November and I've never managed to injure someone by hitting them with a tiny piece of plastic. Ooh, we have a town called Echlefechan! That must be like the Scottish variant of Llanfairfechan. tehe

  • @ mia san mia.
    I associate buggy to be another word for a pushchair, like everybody dies; said. XD

    @ everybody dies;
    Some health and safety reasons are so fucking stupid that it's amazing how they're even classed under the health and safety rules. Rolling Eyes If you say so. Everyone mostly just calls it Llanfairpwll for obvious reasons, or just even Llanfair PG to differentiate it from other villages and towns that begin with 'Llanfair', such as Llanfairfechan. File

    Honestly? We were forced to wear them for 'health and safety reasons'. Our primary school was falling apart though so it was probably a necessity so we didn't step on a stray bit of wood/a nail and sue the school. File And it's still a kickarse name for a place. tehe

  • @ mia san mia.
    Maybe that's a Scottish thing then. I call it a buggy tehe

    Really? I tend not to pronounce my 'T's properly if they are in the middle/at the end of sentences, especially when I'm around my friends. It then becomes an 'electric ke-hul' Mr. Green

    Isn't that a pushchair? A buggy in my world is a type of vehicle like a dune buggy.

    I don't think they have electric kettles in America. That word(s) made it to the list because I was telling Sunny I asked for one once in a store in America and the guy looked at me like I had two heads. XD And I don't pronounce consonants usually so I said it weird I guess. Shifty

    @ castiel's vessel
    I don't know! There's been a few videos of people from the southern US states that call it a buggy. I'm sure they think we're mental for calling it a trolley. XD

    And to both of you, I thought plimsolls were just in primary school because like castiel's vessel said, you hit a certain age and no one wears them anymore.

  • @ everybody dies;
    Alright then. XD

    Everyone called them plimsolls in my first primary school and then I moved to Wales and it was like no one ever wore them and they went barefooted in the hall for p.e. OMG NO! I'm sure whirlpools comes in the middle, as well as other useless words that no one even cares about. File

    Isn't a buggy one of those things you put a baby in? tehe

  • @ castiel's vessel
    Let's agree to disagree. I sound like a junkie. tehe

    I dunno, my mates used to jut call them gym shoes. I was the odd one out. tehe So it's like....the church of St Mary's red dragon cave whirlpools? XD

    I shouldn't be allowed to speak after seven at night. Facepalm

  • @ mia san mia.
    How does a trolley become a buggy? Think That is truly surprising to find out. XD

    @ everybody dies;
    Yes, yes you did. tehe
    Nu uh. Your accent is sooooo much better. I mean, it's Scottish. Other than Irish, that's like the best sounding accent ever.

    Really? I thought they were just commonly known as plimsolls? XD We had to wear them in primary because of verrucas and warts and such. xD I think so. It's either a red dragon or a red cave. I know that 'Llan' translates to church in that name and that (I think) the first part translates into St. Mary's Church or something along those lines. A part of the name also translates into whirlpool but I'm not sure which section of the word that is. Somewhere in the middle, me thinks. Think

  • WOO I GOT MENTIONED. GO ME.

    You sound like one of my friends. And your accent is well more awesome than mines. tehe I think everyone I've seen so far has faltered or did a double-take on electric kettle.

    Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one that called gym shoes plimsoles in primary. I thought I was :') And that place name is still awesome. Is it actually about a dragon? That's amazing!

  • Everyone's videos are so good/funny/awesome! You've got a great accent too - I'm jealous of all you Brits XD I love Cas and Dean's relationship too, but not in the Destiel kinda way XD But I wish they'd just make Cas go back to how he used to be, since he's changed so much lately :(

    I have to say, we have the coolest staff Cool

  • Different parts of the world say different words so that's what those questions were for. I've been learning all sorts of words from these videos like some people call a trolley a buggy. Who knew? XD
