Yeah she started getting on drugs, then the depression, then the lying, then stealing...it just got out of hand. So this is a very big step. I'm already proud of her...but hopefully it changes for the better.

I hope so too. I know it's not the same, but a couple of years ago my mum had quite bad depression and I felt like I didn't know her and was living with an enemy in my home who was constantly yelling at me. But she did get better, and there is definitely hope for you and your mom too
