I somewhat planned my tattoos, I was also a little spontaneous. I tried to stick with something that had meaning, but still looked cool incase it lost meaning as well. Because whether you want to or not, your thoughts on things and your perception will be constantly changing. And sadly, something that means a lot to you now might not mean a lot to you down the road! Smile

None of my tattoos have any meaning, I just liked them and wanted them on my body.

I have two tattoos, one when I was sixteen, the other when I was seventeen. The first one was one I had been planning for a full year before I got it, the second was a cancer ribbon for my grandmother who died when I was five.

The only advice I can give you is pick one you like, and if you keep going back to that one, over and over, then it's probably the one you want. I did that with my first one and never regretted it.

When I got my first tattoo the whole time I kept second guessing and thinking, "holy shit this is going to be on my body for the rest of my life what am I doing." But when it was finished I was soooo happy because it's the logo of my favorite band, and they've been my favorite for as long as I can remember and they always will be.

My second one is just a few daisies that I got because they're my grandma's favorite, my mom's favorite, and my favorite flowers. They came out really great and so pretty, I can't see myself ever regretting it.

I think people should just genuinely picture themselves in twenty years. If they think they'd still like their tattoos, then they should go for it. C:

When I turn 18 I'm getting 2 tattoos as a definite: A music quote by Daughtry's Joey Barnes on my left forearm, I've been planning that since I was 13. That quote sums up music's meaning to me throughout my whole entire life and what it really means to me. Another tattoo I'm getting will be on my right wrist that says, "Passion, Purpose, imPerfection". It's going to symbolize my entry into adulthood and how I do not need to be perfect to have the passion and purpose or to find it, but having passion and purpose and the will to do anything in the name of the latter two in itself is perfection. I'll also be starting beauty school so it'll be a good motivator when I don't want to study or work, lol
