    haha, I see.
Well, the only thing really required left is patience, really. That, and maybe some luck when you're out and about applying to a million places. Or not, if you apply to a million places at least one of them is bound to accept you. xD

Anyways, I'm sure you'll be able to survive another year. Maybe they'll even let you take twice as many classes in one semester so you can finish them all in half a year. (lol jk)

Haha, yeah same here, BA in English. I actually blew through most of my GEs while in high school, but still had to take a few afterwards. Thank goodness the philosophy class I'm taking this quarter is the last of them. I dunno why I waited so long. GE's are just a college's excuse to make more money and then pawn it off as them making "well-rounded" people. I was actually working toward my BS up until...like...last quarter. LOL. I was a physiological science major, but I suddenly realized, you know what, before I take the MCAT, I gotta be honest: This is NOT what I want to do. Switched into English, my true love, and I'm finally working towards pursuing MY dream (Not my dad's of becoming a doctor!). After I graduate I'm going for an MBA and then venture into the world of business, hopefully, eventually, start up my own business (which I've been outlining plans for about a year now).
Sorry for the story of my life, btw. lol.

I would totally take summer classes, except that I would have to pay out of pocket for them. I haven't been able to swing it in the past, but I'm actually trying to take two this summer. I've been saving up. I just can't wait to be done! I have no idea what I'm doing with my degree. I'm just going to apply at a million places and hope someone hires me.

Ah, those elective classes. Well, we call them GE(general education) here too (like the previous commenter said.). But what we call them probably changes through different states.
In the end, though, I think most of us agree that those classes are quite pointless. Maybe colleges are just using those as an excuse to make students stay longer for more money. (lol jk, I didn't mean that, colleges!)

I actually burned through the majority of them my first year, so I''m set for all those upper division courses. meh.

I think for the most part everyone does want to be done with college (although I know some people don't want to and are just stalling...), but a lot of seniors also graduate not really knowing what to do. Well, idk, I still have like 2 years to go to get a BS/BA degree, and then I'm probably going to end up in graduate school, so more college for me. T_T

Actually, some people take courses over the summer to shorten the time in college. Since they're elective classes and not as important, you could have taken some of them over the summer at some community college and transfer credits over, doing that is usually fine. And cheaper then taking them at your usual university, too.

Well, I'm sure you'll be able to survive another year.

On a side note, it's great to see that you're still going to be writing. (unlike me, who can't seem to keep writing anymore. Ah well.)
Well, if you're going to be writing some more maybe I'll go take a look through some of them again, idk.

I sympathize about those pointless classes, I called them GEs lol. But hey! I only have a year to go, too! We'll suffer it through together! Going for your BS/BA?
