That's such a big step though!
I hate how cruel guys can be, especially since you went out of your way to ask him. That's amazing.
Thank you. (: It took me a bunch of brainstorming. I worked on it for hours.

But I plan on it. I'm going to rent some movies, lay around in my sweats, and eat a bunch of popcorn, probably all by my lonesome.

I know. Yes, girls can be confusing, but we do want the straight forward truth. Don't beat around the bush. It makes matters worse.

@ Answering.Alexandra. Oh goodness, I know what you mean. I didn't have a project like you per se, but I'm really shy (like won't talk to anybody shy), so my "project" was just getting the courage to even talk to him and ask him out. Your project was so unique though; I would have been wowed! Man, the nerve of that guy. He doesn't know what he's missing! You should spend that night on yourself!

Like you, my guy tried to go about it nicely, and in the end, it just made me more confused and hurt than anything. There was no closure; it was just blegh. I would have preferred, as you said, a simple "No, I'm not into you." Just rip it off like a band-aid.

Awh. :( I'm sorry to hear that. It really hurts, especially when you put the effort in.

I'd almost rather have the straight-forward truth than a covered up one.

    Haha, thanks.
It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one.

I know the feeling. I got rejected recently by the guy I've liked for a while too, and somehow even when they are nice about it, it almost hurts just as bad if they were jerks about it, to be honest. It's kind of a lose-lose situation no matter what.

Ouch. Don't worry, I kinda got rejected for Prom too. Not by any guy I like - it was a friend and then my brother-in-law (lol) but yeah, sucks >-<

Though that project sounds really cool, very creative ^-^
