I know what you mean. I mean, you, me and Sierra all met through here to begin with and now we're best friends. I've met a lot of people through here that I have grown very close to, but now I just feel distant from everyone else. Like I can see what people recommend and read and what have you when I first log in, but then it takes away the need for actual conversing, which I do miss. So I understand where you are coming from. Maybe it depends on how long the person has been using the site. I mean you and I have been friends for how long now? It seems like forever. haha. But that was when it was the old mibba, and now the new mibba is different. It just feels like they have accidentally taken away the ability to form stronger connections. I mean, I know it's all up to the people and it's not mibba's job to form friendships for us, but the convenience of before the change has long since gone away. I don't know if that makes sense, but it does in my mind. haha

    Also, I LOVE YOU (:

Yeah, that's how it was back then. I think.
I'm a bit of a loner myself, though, so I kept to myself since the beginning. Since I only considered it a writing site.
But certainly, this site does feel a lot more... desolate than years ago.
But yeah, for you it might be because you took a long break, and for me, because I've always kept to myself in the first place.
Well, that's how I is now, I guess.

No, that's not how it is. But a lot of people meet through the blogs, and most forums are kinda of slow lately, but people used to meet that way too.

Yes that's exactly what I'm talking about! I feel bad for all the new members that don't really get involved with this website because they don't have anyone to really show them around. Back in the day they could fit right in.

Yes, I said that my taking a break could be a possibility to why it's so different, but it's still not an excuse. So only people who have been on here for a long time or blog get any attention? If that's the case I don't think I really like it here anymore.

I agree. I remember when people used to flock to new members and leave them literally about a hundred comments within the first day. They felt welcomed and part of the community. Now it's just desolate and lonely, and new members don't really have anywhere to turn to. Sad
