I know. I know one of the little ones has found a home so far, but her sister hasn't yet. As for the mother she wasn't there when I went on Tuesday so I'm not quite sure if she was out for a vet checkup/getting fixed or if she got adopted too. I'll try and find out when I go back today.

I go a couple times a week, and I do admit, I'd love to take them home with me, but at least I get to help take care of them until they find a home. I honestly don't know how I can work there because I do get attached to some of the cats, but I guess in a way I'm just glad that they do get to eventually find a home. I have no clue why people abandon them. I know in one case, the cat I took care of was 10 but she was there because her owner was old and had to go to an elderly home since she couldn't take care of herself anymore.
I'm sorry to hear about that. I know it doesn't help, but if I live anywhere close to where you live and one of my cats had kittens I'd give you them without putting you through all of that.

Le sigh. There should be some kind of law passed that puts all animals before humans. Saying that, some humans are bloody animals and not the nice kinds. Bella had a proper fit this morning, I woke up to find her sat on me clawing at my head. OWWW! Lol

I don't think I could work with cats, I'd want to keep them all to myself and I don't think I'd be allowed to. I don't know how people can do that either. Why have a kitty and let it have kittens if you're just going to throw them out and abandon them? People seriously make me sick.
I've given up on trying to adopt the kittens, every single one of the ads was a scam asking for money for them for transport. It really hurts knowing there's people like that out there.

I work as a volunteer at a pet store close to where I live and I help take care of cats. I had a couple kittens and a mother that I was helping take care of. Turns out their previous owner basically threw them out of their house once the kittens were like 8 or 9 weeks. I don't know what kind of terrible person would do that but I know I wouldn't. I really hope you find other kitties to adopt.

We should ship all the horrible people off to another planet and just have kitties and nice people live here. Would be so much better! Bella's the same, I went for a cuddle this morning and now I have a lovely red scram mark on my cheek. Thanks love! Aww Thor and Loki are perfect names too! This one was a scam She wanted 250usd for shipping and when I said I couldn't pay it, she never replied. I googled her email and she's(possibly more so he's) doing this sort of thing all over with all sorts of animals. What is even wrong with this world

Thank you, both of you. I just don't understand how someone could be like that. I didn't even know I was going to have to pay for papers, I don't even really need them, I'm not going to be breeding them!

Baby! I'm so sorry! That lady didn't sound so nice at all, the flyer completely lied. I had the same exact questions as you did when I read through it. Seven hundred dollars for two kittens does seem a little extreme, especially if they had to travel far, but the papers shouldn't have been that much money. Maybe around $170, but not $200.

It hurts to see you like this, lovey. I wish there was something I could do to make you feel better!

I don't know if I even want to try for more kittens. I can't deal with another rejection like this. It makes me feel empty and useless

Cake isn't even going to cut it right now But thanks for the hug though. I might just curl up around my tiger plushie Jensen and cry myself to sleep. I need the sleep, so maybe exhausting myself will help

You poor love! I hate when you get your hopes up about something, only to be let down and disappointed. It sucks. The lady sounds like a bitch, horrible woman. I hate misleading information. Karma will make its way to her eventually and get her back for using adorable kitties as a bargaining chip.

I hope Jasper gets his brother/s soon and you get more kitties to love! Here, have some cake. And a huge hug!
