I agree in some regards. If people genuinely like your story and your writing, I feel the least they could do is comment. But as dru said below me, if you can't say anything nice... don't say anything at all.July 25th, 2013 at 01:04am

I don't comment when I didn't finish a story or it didn't interest me. I feel I /could/ tell the author why I didn't, but I feel it would be crueler to leave nothing but negative feedback.

I agree with her and the point of this blog. I hate it when I post something and gets lots of readers but no comments. It's discouraging. I deleted a lot of my stuff because of it.July 25th, 2013 at 12:37am

I published my stories on FanFiction before I found this place and if i hadnt gotten the response i did from the readers on that site, I would be in your place though it still makes me nerves- feedback people!July 25th, 2013 at 12:36am

i totally understand where the girl is coming from. there are a lot of readers to my story and yet there's only three people who have commented.... and i'm one of those people. it's a scary thought, putting yourself out on this thought. we just need loveJuly 25th, 2013 at 12:31am
