It can definitely be terrifying, and no one should tell you that you aren't supposed to feel the way you do! But, if it helps at all, everyone I know that was terrified and thought they were hugely unprepared for it ended up calming down a lot and settling in very nicely in just a single day. It really does seem more daunting then it ends up being, at least in my opinion.

Especially the whole "finding classes" thing! If your school has an orientation program that they do right before classes start, you should be able to get a tour and everything that definitely helps you. But what I found to be MUCH more helpful was to just go walk around campus with my roommate and suitemate (both of whom I had only just met!) and we just grabbed a map and hunted down our own classes. That way, we didn't have to learn a bunch of buildings we didn't need to know, and it was much easier to remember. Just make sure that whenever you go and try to see specific buildings and classrooms, you should try to go on a weekday, preferably RIGHT before classes. Or on a day you know summer classes are still in session. The buildings are more likely to be open then.

Anyways, GOOD LUCK! And I'm sure you will have fun after the whole terrifying first week and everything are over with! (:

I'm going to miss you, Shy! However, I wish you the best of luck :)

Before you go off you should come over and spend the night sometime. I don't think you've been over all summer... O.o
