I just got married a week ago and me and my husband have known each other for a long time and dated for four years and were really close friends for quiet a while before we dated.
I understand whacha mean. I mean I see it all the time with young people fresh out of high school. They have no idea what they want to do in life and they usually don't take responsibility for their actions.
Luckily I have a job that pays amazingly, a house, a understanding on life and a good head on my shoulders. I just wish more people could be like you and grasp the concept of marriage as well as you can.

I've been with my boyfriend three and a half years, and you know what? I am still too freaking young for marriage. I have changed SO MUCH in the time we've been together- I can't imagine what three more years will do. But I have all these friends practically running to the altar. It's like...what? You have been together for FIVE MONTHS. WTF ARE YOU THINKING!? "well I don't want to be OLD."

Ahh yes. Because at 22 we're practically old maids.

I am engaged, but my fiance and I have been together for three years now haha. We live together, raise our son together, and pretty much do everything together. I dunno why people think getting married and getting divorces are no big deal. It is weird to me. Imagine someone making divorce illegal, betcha people wouldn't be getting married so quick then!

I've been with my boyfriend for over three years and I can say that I'm still a good five years away from thinking about marriage.. maybe even longer. Both my boyfriend and I believe in focusing on our career paths and getting comfortable and secure before even thinking about getting married.

I agree completely with you though. My mum met my dad young and married soon after. They had two kids, but at the end of it they realised they didn't know each other very well. I don't understand why people rush. If you know you love said person, then why prove it with a ring and piece of paper. Enjoy getting to know each other- especially their middle name

I've been dating my boyfriend for three years and we have no intentions of getting married until we graduate college, which will be when I'm ~28. He's getting his Master's in economics and I'm becoming a veterinarian. I don't know why so many people are getting married so young but it's a very serious commitment that a lot of people don't consider. Divorce is expensive. You will not be the same person at 20 that you are at 30.

My parents knew each other a month before they started dating; six day into their girlfriend/boyfriend relationship they got married. They were only 20 and 21. They've been married for 21 years. It wasn't easy and no marriage is.

I agree with you though, in some points. Still, I think it's their lives. They can screw around with it if they want, as long as they take the consequences of their actions, and know that marriage is no fairytale or romantic movie. Marriage is hard work: tears, forgiving, understanding, listening, ect.

Like I like to say, love is just part of it not all of it.

Okay, as far as I know it hasn't been confirmed, but I've heard that from about 6 different sources. And yes, middle names are important ha ha

I agree with you 100% on this. My couios and now husband had known each other for a month and he was in prison for all of that. Right when they got out they got married and that was like a year ago and they already have a little girl. They do love each other. I do believe that but thats way to soon

Can I be exempt from this? My boyfriend has thirteen middle names. Seriously.

ZERRIE'S ENGAGED??????!!!!!! WHAT IS THIS????? o.O How did I NOT know this if it's true?? -_- umghf and I agree one hundered percent...at least know the persons middle name...middle names are always good to know xD lol :) And, of course, any other information that is absolutely needed.
