I'm seriously sitting here at my computer bawling my eyes out. My mom is currently fighting Stage IV melanoma, and we were told just last week that she had a few weeks left. I'm scared of losing her. It's like a countdown that's constantly in the back of my mind, and no matter what I do, no matter how hard I try to force it back, it seems to wiggle its way to the front again to scream at me. Aside from the inner turmoil, I'm pretty much trying to hide everything and act like I've got it all together. I really don't, though.
