I started out writing that way (self-inserts) because I wasn't all that confident in my ability to create my own characters. I'm getting away from that more and more as my confidence in my writing has improved. Though most of my leads will always be a redhead! I can't help it! We gingers need love too!

Stumbling upon this has really helped set my day up not to suck. Spellbound, LOL. I'm still shocked anyone even read that one, let alone enjoyed it. The things my crazy mind comes up with haha.
