I'd like to be able to wear a bikini, though, just because I've honestly never worn one. Not since I was a little girl, anyway. I'm not looking to be like, skinny, but I'd like to have a soft, feminine body, if that makes sense. I'm glad it was inspiring! This is something I've been battling with for a while, so I'm finally at the point where it's now or never. I actually know how to do the threading thing. There's a threading salon at the mall I used to shop at, but it's been so many years since I've been there it might not be there. I'll look into it, and if I can't find a salon for it, I'll try doing it myself. :)

  • @ gonna hear dru roar.
I dunno, I'm always weary of shaving things other than the essentials. Like, I guess I'm worried it'll be too noticeable and then everyone will know my dirty secret, lol. It's a totally irrational fear, but I have it. My gynecologist also said not to shave it, so idk. I might try the threading, though!

  • Hey,

I also have a similar size and weight. So I understand where you are coming from. Wanting to look beautiful and be healthier. That's important to us.

One thing though, you don't have to wear a bikini to be beautiful. And becoming conceited is not a good thing I agree. And I also agree that being slim and healthy is good.

Your blog was pretty inspiring to me. I would like to know how it goes for you. I would recommend you start with twenty minute walks every morning and work from there.

Also threading is an effective hair removal tactic and I heard
It hurts less over time. It's good to remove hair that looks manly. So good luck!

  • I don't know why you wouldn't shave it. The rumors about it growing back thicker and more noticeable are bullshit. I have very dark hair and have to shave my upper lip every three weeks or so, so that I don't get a moustache.

I also shave my arms and occassionally the area where sideburns grow. I've never had a problem so even if you're like "obvi I won't", I'm going to suggest trying it because I'm 26 and I've never had a problem and I've been doing it for years.
