That's a great idea!!!!! I'm definitely going to start adjusting.

I suggest keeping the fanfic. I know you have a certain fanbase who read your stories because they are a7x faanfics. I love original fics so I wouldn't have a problem with whatever you decided to do with it. But if you wanna change it to original fic, you could do this:
Keep the name Jimmy but change his last name. [that will make some of those a7x readers stay]
And don't create a new story, just edit the old one. That way you'll keep the comments and the recs as well as the subscribers.
What if you have readers who don't check the blog section? If you delete the first draft, the story they subscribed to or bookmearked will be lost.

i don't know what to do with it. This story is so close to my heart that i can't bear keeping it as a fan fiction...not anymore...but people have already identified with Jimmy.
What would you suggest i do?

Does that mean the previous one will be deleted?
