People like this upset me ..

Because self harm is glamorized on some parts on the Internet.

asdfghjkl I hate it when people do this. Self-harm is not cool and it shouldn't be a big trend like it is. People who glorify it are the reason those with real mental illnesses are so degraded by those who assume they're all like that. They're obviously fishing for attention for a reason but I can't help but dislike them immensely.

Yes. Exactly what you and previous commenters said. I used to self-harm because I was extremely depressed and believed that I deserved it. It is absolutely sickening that people romanticize and add humor to it. It's not funny and if you cut too deep it's fucking dangerous.

The girl does it for attention, nothing more. If she is actually cutting herself(it's possible she lies or makes "scratches"), she probably doesn't realize what she could actually do to herself. It is sad that people find it comforting to get attention from something they don't actually struggle with.

She'll learn, either the hard way or maybe the not-so-hard way. Either way, she'll learn.

Self harm as a trend is sickening and is the reason why people who are truly suffering from it are ignored or not given the support they need.
