@ Nova. Yeah, I've found it a bit weird. I can understand for unposted stories, 'cause there's almost no other way (or at least no other easy way) to do it, but I usually unrecc it when I post.
It's a thing in nanowrimo where people go to places like libraries and bookstores and write together. I'd love to say more about it, but I've never been, so...

I've always found it a bit odd the way some people rec their own stories.. Then again I have a ton that have no chapters so maybe I will but I'll probably un-rec them once I've posted something because to me it feels like I'm just liking my own status or giving myself a high five in public..
