Sure :) My novel is about a girl who was raped by her twin sisters boyfriend and is dealing with the aftermath, it involves suicide and self harm and of course a cute boy who helps her gather the courage to tell everyone! What is yours like? I'm super interested in other nano stories too :)

I even ordered the winner's shirt. My dad encouraged me to because he was really proud of me. I'm nowhere near done with the novel so I might abuse Mibba's December version of NaNo because I apparently actually do work well under pressure. Who would've guessed! I was very convinced I wasn't going to win this year so I even had intentions of writing some updates for stories that are posted here and putting that towards my word count (because I'm a lazy cheater, muah) but I never once got stuck or anything. It was fun and motivating, surprisingly. Can I ask what your NaNo novel is? Like what is it about? I'm curious about everyone's novels, yes.

Oh, gosh I have many a story like that on my hard drive just awful fourteen year old angst bullshit! haha
Wooop! Go girl! It is the best feeling, at first I was like what? I did AWWWW SHITYEAH! hahaha :P
It seems like pressure helps my creativity, crazy, when I have lots of time I find myself getting bored and going away from the story but if I have a deadline I am like super motivated! Crazy!

Attempting it is still an awesome thing! I actually just finished my school year a few days before NANo so that allowed me actually do it, otherwise I would have given up after the first day. Just completely rage quit haha.

Well, I definitely am not a winner of NaNo, but I attempted it to say the least. But school and other things got in the way.

I'm glad you finished, though! I plan to try again next year.

I won NaNo on Saturday morning! I was in shock, too. I considered this year my first time because I did it in 2009 and won but I was so ashamed of the product that came out that I shoved it into the deep, dark corners of my hard drive. It was during my "teenage drama" phase (I was also watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager, then, OH MY GOD) and does not count at all. It was literally just a lot of crap threaded together that happened to pass 50k. This year's result has the potential to be published whereas the other...does not.
But I was thinking about doing the same thing for December because the pressure really got me, too! I wrote some awesome stuff under that pressure when I thought I'd crack like I did in 2011 and 2012.
