@ TheShiningSoul I just read your comment. Thank you! The idea for that story kept bugging me, and the plot constantly changes in my head. :) I'm just glad it flows well together. And I've always been an iffy speller (thank goodness for spell-check!). Dahlia is fun to write, I love her character, but I'm nothing like her... except maybe her crazy mood swings that she gets toward Macon and Colt. I did a lot of research for her so she'd be more wolf like.
@ TheShiningSoul You're welcome, and don't worry I know the feeling. Before I took a writing course in college with a woman named Dr. Hammond, I wouldn't admit that I was even a decent writer so good/great was out of the picture. I still don't like reading my own work, but I think it's decent now.
@ Lulie Belle Wow thank you :) you're so nice! I don't list myself as a good/great writer because my friends are just brilliant in comparison, but thank you so much for reading it! It really means a lot... I'm going to start yours later on today xxx
@ TheShiningSoul What was I reading? Oh well. I'll remember the title eventually. But I will definitely check it out. I just started reading your story Bright Blue Box. If you weren't sure before... let me reassure you, you are a really good writer. I think I'm a little jealous of your imagery.
@ Lulie Belle No, it's not, but it's still really good :) It's a nuclear war story based on a nuclear bomb in a small town in Greater Manchester... It's pretty darn good ... Here's the link: The Impossible Game xxxxx
@ TheShiningSoul I think I started reading that the other day. That's the post-Apocalypse story about the teen aged kids; it starts off with them wanting to take a school trip to the dangerous mall? Right?... But yes, send me the link please; I think I forgot to rec it.
And if that's not the same story, still send me the link. I'm always looking for something interesting to read.
@ Lulie Belle Brilliant actually! It's really intriguing and exceptionally well written! It's called "The Impossible Game"... I could send you a link if you're interested?xxxx
@ TheShiningSoul I'm not going right this second. There's a chapter for another co-write I'm doing that has to be done. But other than that I have nothing to do other than talk to people on here.
@ TheShiningSoul okay :). I promise, I'll stop replying after this because I'm probably making you procrastinate and you said you were busy... so go get to work lol
@ Lulie Belle Oh okay :) I'm sure they'll be few if any at all, as you seem to know how to write pretty well structured pieces :D I'll work on it later xxxxxx
@ TheShiningSoul Thank ya :). Yeah, The Last Wolf my favorite that I'm writing by myself right now. It only comes second to my co-write Lunacy. I'll be happy to hear what you think, and be sure to point out any mistakes you see in it.
@ Lulie Belle I'm going to try out one of your stories when I next go on here, but I'm kinda busy right now, though, I have had a little look and they seem really intriguing. I like the idea of "The Last Wolf" one :D I'll comment as soon as I've read one or two and yeah, I like to read poetry too! xxxxx
@ TheShiningSoul :) I'm sure you have! It's all about practice with poetry, and that's why I stick with novels/short stories. I don't have the patience to write it, but I love to read it.
@ TheShiningSoul You're welcome. I read it, and I liked it over all, but when I first started reading it the rhythm seemed off. That might just be me though. I'm a weird person when it comes to poetry.
