I really didn't like Frankenstein at all. We had just read Paradise Lost, so my teacher was relating everything back and it was just really annoying. & then there was an entire year missing in there (the timing didn't match up!) and with all the editing they did, I don't know how she and her husband didn't fix that. It bothered me so much.

It's annoying actually because we're doing the gothic for my English Lit exam and one of the texts we could have studied was Wuthering Heights but no we have to do Frankenstein instead which I hate with a passion -_-
It's so good, I didn't expect it to be as addictive reading as it is :')

I just read Wuthering Heights for my AP Lit (Senior in high school) class and I really liked it. My teacher has a habit of choosing terrible novels, so once I actually started reading it, I really liked it! I loved how the young generation represented the older one in ways that were obvious, but weren't at the same time.

There's so much going on and I could just talk about that book forever trying to explain my favorite parts to people!
