@ Pocky_1691 Well, they added more dates in April and are calling it the Shepard of Fire tour lol. I still think after the first part of the year they'll be done for at least the second half. For new baby spoiling time. Lol.
I think after they finish the over seas leg of the tour they'll be done for a little while anyway, with Matt's second child being on the way and all (confirmed via That Metal Show), but they may hit the road again after that (we can hope, anyway).
I feel your pain... I used to live in Northern WI and I never saw them live... They never came close enough when I had money or could get time off work. Since I moved to Northern Cali, I've seen them three times (in three years). Which isn't bad, still not enough, if you ask me, but better than not seeing them at all, or having to drive for hours and hours in order to see them.
@ Pocky_1691 Well, that sucks. =/ They really do need to get closer to you.
Ah, I feel the same way about My Chem! Although, to be fair, I did see them once. They were my first concert. Unfortunately, Frank was sick - and as he was my favourite member, I really wanted to see him. The next time they came to Australia was the night of my Year Twelve Formal - which is our equivalent of Senior Prom, so I missed them. I should have gone to the show, anyway. The formal sucked. =P
@ Haylie Jaed I live closer to Green Bay. They come around there but not as much as I would like to, lol. They do go to the southern part of Wisconsin more than any other part of the state.
Sometimes we have to learn who's our true friends the hard way.
It's hard for me to travel around to see bands, but I try. I just wish I was able to see My Chemical Romance before they broke up, but maybe they'll get back together, who knows, lol.
Woah. You have a pretty similar story to my friend. She's always got people taking advantage of her, so she ends up paying for everything herself - including gas. She's traveled to Chicago a number of times, as well as Michigan, Iowa and Minnesota - always driving, always paying her own way. She does it for Papa Roach. She just follows their tour around as much as she can, and it pays off. She's met the band more times than I can count, they know her by name now. She designed their guitarist's current tour picks. She's a lucky girl, but for most people it's just not possible to do such things.
As long as the concert was awesome and you had a good time, that's what matters the most. =) But here's to hoping they come closer to you this time. Do you live around Madison? From memory, they go there, don't they? I could be wrong though. o.o
@ Haylie Jaed It didn't double post, hooray! Lol. It does get expensive. I went to Chicago for the first show of the Hail To The King tour, and it was about $400. I paid for everything but gas because my so-called friend took advantage of me. Oh well, the concert was still awesome.
I think Mibba's just being weird today. Mine was a double comment too, and I only pushed submit once. >.< And yeah, it's pretty cool. =) I have a friend who lives in Wisconsin, so I know the situation there. It sucks that they don't get there too often. =/ Seems like not a lot of bands do. She's always traveling out to other states to see shows. But that gets pretty expensive. o.o
@ Haylie Jaed That's extremely epically awesome that you get to photograph one of their shows. I live in Wisconsin of the US, which isn't visited as I like it to be, but it's practically cold snowy winter for half the year so I don't blame awesome bands not wanting to get into that, lol

I wish Avenged would tour in Australia as much as they do in the US. As it is, they're coming for Soundwave this weekend and playing sideshows the week after, so I'll be seeing them twice in the coming days. ^_^ This will mark my third and fourth times. =D
I'm also lucky enough to have been granted media approval to photograph their show in Sydney next Tuesday night. <3 ! Such a dream come true!
I hope they come to your city, or at least close enough that you can see them. Their live shows are always so worth it.

@ Pocky_1691 It's hard not to love Avenged Their music is phenomenal They really care about the fans It also doesn't hurt that they are all very nice to look at All in all their awesomeness knows no bounds Thank you, I have no doubt that the show will be beyond killer
If I were still in WI, I would too! But I'm not lol. I'm in CA.
