@ SecretPiggyMafia Comment Swap has been broken for the majority of the website for a very long time.

I agree. This site is slow and I think something fishy is happening with the comment swap. I sent 5 comments (and they all followed the rules), and have yet to get any back. Is comment swap messed up or something? Also, I keep getting "This page can't be displayed" notices. Ugh.

@ CoolStory.Lyn As I recall, you were the one who asked where all the "freaking admins" were. I addressed your question.

I'm not blaming them at all. I see Kate around very often. I just wonder if they have any other form of contact to Dujo besides here...

Mibba's growing out of its diapers. It needs higher capacity servers, as new people join and new things are posted. Such things are costly. Dujo can't just fork out the money left and right, really, we need a co-owner to help support the site and keep it in good shape.
Awhile ago I got flamed for making a suggestion where he get people to help him with the site, and low and behold, the site is overworked. Facepalm

Yahoo bought Tumblr and turned it to crap, so I don't think it would get any better here.

@ sindie synclayre I don't think it's too much to ask for him to show up every now and then. To keep us updated on where things are at. It's called a maintenance update. I know this because every writing website I'm on has them. They actually stop for two minutes and say, "This is what's wrong." Instead of leaving users to speculate about why the site is continuously have problems. I'm not saying Mibba needs to be bought out at all. I'm saying it needs legitimate work to be fixed. If it's the servers, okay. That takes money. If it's not, and it's the code, that can be fixed. Instead, we keep getting things that break or have bugs and they aren't fixed or addressed. They're ignored. I don't think that's okay whether the website is privately owned or not. Keep in mind we were even having problems as the mini-sites were going up, which means Dujo was on-site and things were still not being fixed. I find that not okay.

We're talking about the same Dujo who's "two weeks" is at least two years. Though old Mibba seemed to have more members (because old Mibba was a legit community) there is a lot more activity on Mibba now. The admins are around and are working hard to fix the site's issues. Be patient and have faith Cute

Edit: Dujo does the best he can. I do believe some people forget he actually has a life. And if someone big bought Mibba out, it would become quizilla. We dont want that.

@ CoolStory.Lynn Hold up. Don't blame the admins. Audrey, Nicole, and Katie do not have the capabilities to fix this to my knowledge as this has to do with servers and coding. This is on Dujo. If you watch the blogs, I know Katie is quite active. This isn't their fault. They're here to uphold the rules, and they do a super job at that.

And as mibba is "growing out its diapers", the least Dujo can do is update every now and then and keep us informed. I'm kinda wishing someone big like Yahoo would buy this site.

I don't know what to do with this site anymore. Where are all the freaking admins?! And Dujo hasn't been around in FOREVER. Like jesus christ, dude. I'm so grateful for this site but goddamn, he needs to find some time out of his life to fix this shit. He hasn't been around in so long I'm starting to think that something happened to him. Which of course I hope is not the case.

If I were a coder or knew anything about software or programing I would volunteer to help him out, but unfortunately I'm completely hopeless when it comes to that stuff. o.o

@ Tickle Me Sara I've discussed that with several friends that we need more coders for the site. That way, we could have people assigned to deal with problems in specific areas.

Truth is Dujo could use a couple buddies to do what he does and help him run the site.
