I was in fourth grade. All the teachers had their TVs turned away from us. Then one of my teachers showed us what was going on. We didn't go home early though.
Yeah my school shook well duh I live in NYC I saw the whole thing outside my school windows. it was horrible and I lost my best friend in the towers. All I can remember was me screaming my head off outside my school when the towers fell. I had to run home because no one wanted to pick me up (I was in 5th -6th grade when it happened) and now people in my high school act like nothing happened on 9/11. Some people these days need a good smack in the head.
Flight 93 crashed about 10-20 miles away from the school I was attending second grade at. I remember that all the kids were getting picked up from by their parents and I was one of the ones that weren't because my parents were outside the whole time. My mom decided to check the news because she saw a bunch ambulances go by my house and smoke from a distance. The school decided to let us out because there was only about two kids in each class.
