Hmm.. magic seems too fantasy, unless that's more what you're looking for vs. paranormal, supernatural,etc. It would be neat to have a third L word that meant what you wanted, but I can't think of anything. xD

Judging was the hardest part for me. I am too nice.....like to anyone so I felt horrible because I couldn't make every entry a winner, ya know? Basically though once you've read all the entries, you 'll be able to pick which you think fit the contest topic best. It is a tough decision though. However, it's worth it cause it's like people are writing stories just for you!

Then I think it's a pretty neat idea. :3

lol it's okay :D I'm known for caffeine addiction and hyperness ;] So how did you like holding contests? Besides it being fun what were some other things that happened. I'm worried about judging though XD I hate criticizing people.

I was going to make it anything goes (except no prewrites or fanfiction) I want to see how crazy and creative people can get :] I was going to offer graphics or advertising in my sig or blog.

Sorry, I'm really hyper lol. I think it's a good contest though. I've held a few and it was fun! Supernatural creatures and stuff appeal to a lot of people. :)

The best way to get contestants is to offer some really neat prizes. Look around the other contests and see what their prizes are. Only do things that you know you can finish. Give yourself reasonable times, too. If it's a 7k word minimum I would personally offer around two to two and a half months since sometimes it can be a bit hard to work up to that.

Are you going to allow prewrites? Original? Slash/femmslash? Etc. Being specific in the guidelines really help.

I personally love the idea of the contest. If it allows femmeslash I may join. Let me know if it ever get's posted. :3
