THAT'S AWESOME! I really love Lee Stafford.
I'm glad it went swimmingly! :) And I agree it is such a liberating feeling. Ha you should get your friends to pay you in cake. Or Coffee. Or Cookies. Whatever's your poison.
Jared's mohawk was a thing of beauty :(

LOL! I'm so predictable. It's like a tick. I have a kit tick. And you just dropped a Richard bomb YES!

Haha. I'd cut mine myself but that would be very bad.

    A cleanser?

    I probably will. Lol.

I'm glad you find it helpful!
I don't think Bleach does ship unfortunately. They've only recently started selling products and they're only available in one pharmacy chain here. I mostly use the site for colour inspiration.
Were you looking for crazy/vivid colours or certain products in particular?

    @ DarkestStorm
Yes you should! hahaha. I cut mine myself so I can't really shout at anyone.

:) Oh and even if it's a cleanser you can still apply it before water too.

    Hope you approve! haha

Because I had to sneak him in somewhere ;)

Wow. Thank you so much for posting this blog. It's super helpful. And I will definitely be coming back to it for reference. I seriously love taking care of my hair, it is the thing I am most protective of. So I always appreciate some tips to improve it and make it healthier in any way.

Do you happen to know if Bleach ships to the US? Or any good brands that are in the US?

True. Next time though, I'll stick with my usual cutting off the dead ends. Though I should just get it regularly cut. I usually only get it cut every three months which, is horrible, I know.

    I'll try those.

Ooh, maybe I'll try using it tonight then, before I go somewhere.

Hey at least you gave it a go! I've cut wavy/curly dry before. It's really about the tension. I don't know if they did, but the stylist should have relaxed their hold a bit to allow for the natural bounce of the wave.

I've just googled whether you can buy these in the US haha. I use Umberto Giannini which apparently you can get in WalMart! or Rite Aid? The curl friends range are cleansers, but I love all the Umberto range.
I'm not a huge Tresemme fan, but the cleanser is good. Matrix, Redken, Bumble and Bumble?

Yes you can :) It basically soaks up the grease/moisture so you're hair doesn't look as dirty as it really is haha. As long as you don't spray too close to the roots you'll be grand.

The thing is, I never got my hair cut dry. It's always been shampooed and wet beforehand. :( It was my fault for trying to experiment at Walmart. :(

I've tried a cleansing shampoo but it didn't work well. From what I can remember. Any brand recommendations? Reasonably priced? Lol. I think we have hard water here.

This may be a stupid question...Can I still brush my hair with the dry shampoo or...no? What purpose does it serve? Lol.

See! That's why my fellow hairdressers really annoy me at times because they should make sure the client is sure how much they're getting off. Obviously if it's in terrible condition they're going to recommend you get more cut off but they have to bloody tell you! You've just reminded me to add something in about wavy/curly hair haha.

You could try getting a cleansing shampoo. But the type of water area you live in could also be an issue. If you live in a hard water area (which I believe about 85% or such the US is) it could be product build up because the minerals in the water combine with the oils in your hair. So I'd try the shampoo on dry hair or a vinegar rinse if that doesn't work :)

You should try out the dry shampoo when you're not so busy. Obviously the directions are on the back but I separate it into sections and spray. I usually just stick to a T section (the front and crown) and massage in. Sometimes I do it the night before if I know it's going to be greasy when I wake up. I like to think it stops the grease from getting too bad haha.

Oh my gosh. I got my hair cut at walmart before (Usually go to the Regis Salon in the mall but I had a gift card) and I wanted my hair to be sort of medium length but...

Okay, her inches must have been really different like you mentioned. I had her show me what would be a foot off and it looked like no more than six inches to me. It's also important to know my hair's sort of wavy so...

Anyway, I got a terrible cut. :( I guess when I was trying to show how short I wanted it, with my fingers, I wasn't thinking right because it was way too short...

Ooh, I like this blog a lot. I have wavy hair which is naturally curly if I don't brush it dry (that sounds weird, right?), but it's sort of been a mess right now... I, um, can't ever wash out all the shampoo in my hair. :( Do you have any ideas about that? Like...how to make sure it's all out? My hair's finally growing (after a year...) and it's like a little past my shoulders.

I'll try that using shampoo while my hair is dry thing though. Sounds good.

I've had dry shampoo but I don't really know how to use it or what I'm supposed to use it for...

Also, you messaged me and I read it earlier and I told myself I would message you back soon, but that was hours ago, so I'm going to message you back now. :)
