Ah yeah I understand that, sometimes it would take me a while to get a photo cut out using GIMP, or I'd have to find a similar photo that was easier to cut out lol.
Photoshop is good, I just don't make graphics as much as I used to, sadly :/
@ ladyschrei I tried that tool but I couldn't get it clean enough. I think the image I was trying to cut out was a little too complicated, but I used Vechs tool suggestion and it worked well.
I wish I could afford photoshop, I'm sure it's much easier to use. Haha.
I used to use GIMP but now I use Photoshop so I'm trying to remember it all, but I believe GIMP has a scissors tool you can use, and you just click points around the image you want, and go around the entire thing. Then it's considered "cut out" and I believe you can move it around, or hit Delete and it'll delete the uncut part of the photo, something to that effect
@ Vechs That actually worked really well for what I was trying to do, because the image was black/grey and the background was white, so it edited it perfectly
@ Vechs Thanks heaps! It worked exactly how I wanted it to. I watched some many videos and read some many "tips" and this is the first time I've even heard of this tool. Thanks again
