I love names that are unique, but the main thing for me is if they fit the character. The names I've liked are:

I'm very Hippie-like, I suppose xD My favorite Girl name is Prudence, after the song by The Beatles "Dear Prudence". I like the lyrics to that song, and if my future Daughter is ever going through a rough time, I can just sing to her "The clouds will be a Daisy chain, so let me see you smile again, Dear Prudence, Won't you let me see you smile."
Typically I like names based on their meanings. Mamoru is my favorite Boys name because it means "Protector", Ikuseghan one of my favorite Girls names because it means "Peace overcomes war", and Ryshia another one of my favorite Girls names because it means "Peace and love". It's too bad I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce Ryshia.
I'm also a Classic Rocker-type girl, so Axl is another favorite Boys name of mine xD There's someone I know with the name Kerye'. I love the name, but I would never use it for any of my Kids or anything. I also want to name one of my future Daughters after my favorite stuffed animal, Cloe (spelled wrong on purpose :P Lol), but it's not a name I really love.

I like Christian, Michael, Charles, Matthew, Sebastian, Nicholas, Allison, Ava, Anastasia, Elwin, Keri, Leilah, Morgan, Ambrielle, Madison, Mason. I like a lot of A or M names.

I've always liked plain names, for example my favorite names are Simon, Henry, Isaac, Emma and Sophie. So plain Jane. I also do like my name, Aubrey, but would never name a character that because they might end up like me.

I wouldn't use any of these for real life people, but I use 'em in stories.

I love a lot of your names! I'm the same way. I bought baby naming books when I was thirteen. Have been naming my future kids since I was probably eleven. I've changed my mind, thankfully, since some were truly awful, but I still have a list of names I like.

That's not all the names I like but I can't think of any more right now. I have more boy names picked out then girls and some of the boys names (Lennon and Harrison for example I might use for a daughter). Some are family names. I'm pretty set on my first son being Jude Emmett McKinley (Emmett and McKinley are after my grandfather and great-grandfather).
