They would both hate each other talking to the opposite sex, even online, and they know they both do it secretly because hey, everyone has friends and conversations, so they took to taking their phones with them absolutely everywhere (to the bathroom, what even) and got really suspicious of one another because of that and began looking for things to be jealous about. So of course one day she snoops through his phone when he forgets it to shower and she sees he's been talking to girls online and completely flips her lid because this girl sent her boyfriend a " " and she accused him of cheating on her. He once went off at her for being a slut because she waved to an old school friend when they were out.
Seeing them like that stopped anything in me turning into that with my boyfriend. Nobody wants to be that insecure. People talk. They hang out. They go hiking. It's just... life. Living. Being friendly.
My advice to you would be that, well, if he's going to cheat on you he's going to cheat on you. You can't stop someone from doing what they want to do. You can stop yourself from making them guilty before they do anything wrong, though. Personally, I would see absolutely nothing wrong with a taken guy going hiking with a girl who is a friend. You know, unless they had a romantic history or something. My bf is in a band and their lead singer is a girl, so he's always out with her. He sees her more times a week then he sees me. But he absolutely loves being in a band, playing music with people, rehearsing, recording - everything about it. Sometimes you have to let people go a certain amount so they know they want to come back, they want to be with you and they're not just stuck there.
