Right?! I flipped out when I saw that Especially because of the consequences for him! I know, I'm like that too. I'm torn between them being punished and then the whole 'no one should have to endure that' sort of thing.
During Robert's Rebellion. He defeated the Targaryans (and only Dany survived) and took the throne for himself. So therefore it's technically Stannis' right to be on the throne, in my mind anyway
The GoT world is so complex, and there's such a huge backstory to the world that there is now, and I find it all really interesting.
Exactly, she's too manipulative, and come on, burning people alive? Not a great look for a king - he's just going to look like the Mad King (who Robert kicked off the throne - well, the Mad King was slain by Jaime, and hence Jaime's nickname).
I've had the case of a few shows on Facebook posting stuff the second the show has finished airing, and it's like come on, not everyone watches it live, y'know? Wait a day or so before you post stuff. Thankfully it seems like shows are getting the hang of that, so it's easier to avoid spoilers for the most part.
I've heard of it, haven't seen it.
Yeah, it would be such a huge thing, but maybe that's how the books end or something, when winter finally gets there That would be disappointing...
My Jon Snow fic is set in winter, but that's not really addressed that much, so I don't know if it counts
Here It is hilarious
Maybe I'm the only one it bugs It didn't use to, but now it does.
Yeah, fair enough. Definitely don't skip, you might pick up on a small detail you missed the first time Definitely happened a lot with me when I rewatched episodes!
But spiralling means death
Oh my gosh. I totally thought i had replied back to you sooner. :( I'm so sorry.
But yeah, I was like "Oh my gosh". And in the latest episode I was watching, he was told to have his whole arm cut off but he like grabbed the guy's neck so now he's just going to get...the bad stuff out. I don't mind people being punished...I'm just a bit...sympathetic. You know?
Oh okay. That makes sense. So the Targaryans are like, the rightful owners or no? Sorry. v.v As I said, if it's not a teen drama, my mind can't comprehend it.
It is complex, it's nice that there's such broad backstories to like every character and kingdom though. The author put a ton of thought into the books. I loved the episode "Battle of Blackwater" that the author wrote.
Burning people alive is a bit harsh. Okay, what did the Mad King do exactly and why/how was he so "mad"?
Haha. I know! I've had good luck so far avoiding the GoT spoilers on Sunday nights here when the episodes air so far. It's hard though. Especially since some people like to post commentary throughout the entire episode. Like me... Have to avoid tumblr and news site and everything.
You should check it out, you might like it. Unless you've heard of the premise already and decided you don't like it by that. Lol.
So I went and saw Frozen a few days ago and I was just saying in one of my blogs how in a movie called "Frozen", there's actually winter there! Like this everlasting winter ends up happening and they show like consequences and everything. Though I think a few people dying could have been a nice touch. Oh that makes me sound horrible, doesn't it? Tch... But yeah, GoT needs to come on with winter already. There's only (so far) two more seasons on the way. I want to see this big bad huge life threatening chaotic winter take place. For longer than an episode would be nice too. I'm very impatient when it comes to some things.
Yay! I will definitely check it out soon.
I finally got through the episode! Only to be stuck on the fifth episode now. It never ends... It would definitely help for me to rewatch the episodes since I can't grasp things upon first viewing...
I know spiraling means death, but hopefully spiraling will help me pay attention on the show. I don't want to see Robb die either.
Okay so one thing sort of bothers me, I already mentioned this to a friend, but I'm bothered by the fact when Arya works for Tywin, he doesn't think she's possibly Ned's daughter. I get that he wouldn't really care either way, but I mean, he's Robb's sister. The guy he's about to go into battle against. I know Tywin probably thinks she's just some girl but... I don't know.
