Yep, really. ^_^ And thank you. XD I would consider it a tribute. It's your first OC - you want some way to honour them. And why not use it as a username? It's something different. =)

Is it really?? That's pretty rad! Kinda like what Diana is to me, then. I've seen your name around here and I've always thought that Jaed is a cool name. I think I can consider it as a tribute, kinda, yeah?

My username, Haylie Jaed, is a character username. Haylie Jaed was the first OC I ever created. Granted, she was Haylie Potter in the beginning (Jaed is her middle name), but these days she's a regular OC - and the name I've used on writing sites for years.

So I don't find it strange at all. =) I find it to be a tribute of sorts.

I really like names so for a while now all my usernames have just been names I thought sounded nice. None of them were my characters names but I don't think there is anything wrong with using them

I wouldn't worry about it. After all, people use other fictional character names as their usernames. :)

I had my user as dr. collier for a while. He was one of my old characters from a long-forgotten sci-fi I wrote.
