    I laughed really hard when I heard this - serves her right. She said she was from Al Queda (crap at spelling it), so she totally deserved this. It was a slap in the face to EVERYONE in America, not to mention any other country that has had to deal with a bombing threat.

    It can actually be easier to make initial contact with an airline about concerns and queries, and it also boosts their traffic because if people are mentioning them in a positive way and they have, say, 200 followers, the chances are at least one of those followers might think "there's an airline that's got positive feedback" and use that airline instead of another.

    But that girl, jeez. I cannot believe that she thought that a threat like that wouldn't be taken seriously. I mean, hello, if you say it online and they don't take you and an attack actually happens on that day, then there would be serious consequences for the airline because whoever is their online personnel has an obligation to report things like that.
