I have a wacom! Mine was $199, but it's a little guy. I don't need that much room because I'm not a great artist, but I love drawing. I'd definitely recommend it though :3

I'm right handed too. Lol. I just rest my whole hand on the paper when I draw and it gets all over me. I've tried to hold my hand up to stop myself from smudging so much. But I can't seem to get the hang of it. :X

But that's cool! I didn't know that! I just kind of barely got it. So I haven't been able to play with it a whole lot. I've had it for a while but I couldn't use it on my old computer. And I just barely got this one. But I've been too busy with school to really get the hang of it. I also don't know my way around Photoshop so I have no idea how to paint with it and be satisfied. Everything looks stupid and cheesy.

Those buttons are cool. You can assign them to things within your SAI or Illustrator or whatever you have.
I always have pencil on my wrist; can't avoid it. At least I'm right handed so I don't smudge up my art. xD

Mine is probably the $350 one. Mostly because I can't picture my husband shelling out $500 for a drawing tablet. We're not together, which is why I don't know how much money he spent. Lol. YEAH! I think it is! Because isn't the large like a touch screen too? Mine is to an extent. You can tap and drag the cursor with your finger. But your whole hand doesn't activate it. I'm very handsy with my work. Lol. My whole palm is on the surface when I draw. I usually get pencil lead or ink or paint all over my freaking hand. I haven't had a problem with the tablet yet. So yeah. I think it's the medium one. Whichever that is. It has some buttons on the side but I have yet to play with them.

Oh wow, that's little. XD I'm thinking the $350 medium size might be okay rather than the full $500 large.

I'm not sure which one I currently have since I just moved and I haven't brought the box yet. I was going to send a picture but I'm too lazy. But yeah, the Bamboo I had was like the smallest one they sell. I don't remember how big that one was either. It's been over two years since I've had it. :/

I can doodle with my mouse in Illustrator, but it's too smooth and fluid for my liking. Tablets are more natural. What size Bamboo do you have, the 8x12?

I generally draw traditionally too. :/ I still struggle with digital a lot. I've got linework down, just not painting. So yeah, I totally understand that. When you use it though, I don't think the size really matters. I don't think I ever had any problems with the size of the Bamboo. But I also didn't have it for very long before my husband stole it and then lost the pen and then was so angry about losing the pen he threw the whole thing away instead of replacing it. -_- (He replaced it with my current one so I shouldn't be mad anymore).

I was looking at Bamboos and the 4x6 just seems to small for someone who regularly draws on huge sketch paper. 3: The 8x12 is so expensive though. $500 I can't afford to spend.

Yeah, huh, I was laughing so hard I literally teared up. XD

The small Wacom tablet is a great starter tablet! I had it... I can't remember what it was called... Bamboo? Anyway, yeah. I have one of the larger ones now, which I also can't think of the name. And there's literally no difference I've found yet except for larger drawing space and it has an eraser, which is awesome, but not worth the extra money.

And dude, that happens to me all the time. Not aliases or anything. Just characters. I'll make these characters and they'll end up with full lives and stories and then I'll realize somehow that the name actually belongs to a real person (local or not) and I can't tell if I heard that person's name before and that's why it sounded good to me, or if I made it up and that person just happened to be real.
