    Same!

I just sometimes stand there and think-- How could've I thought of it then, even. Or I can't understand why I thought it'd be a good idea urgh ahah

I hate when I have good ideas and tell my self 'Don't forget it' but then forget it completely - or write it down and for some reason stop halfway through. I'm easy to distract.

Well, I haven't tried it yet, but I've read from various Mibbians that they use a website called Write or Die. Apparently it helps you get your writing done. Now I've been trying out a new strategy where I force myself to write even if I'm not inspired. What I'll write will usually be complete poop, but I'll just keep coming back to it and keep shaping it up until it's nice enough to post. It's better than not writing anything for weeks or even months at a time.

Anyways, good luck. Hope inspiration strikes you very soon!

Oh that's the worst. I've had moments where I've been struck with inspiration for something I've been stuck on, but when I get to my computer to write it down it's gone and I can't remember exactly how I wanted to write it down. ugh

I am exactly the same way. And therefore I have barely done anything in a year due to having a five year old child who demands constant attention, and due to living with my father who is worse and comes to bother me when he's bored or gets mad if I close my door. I wish I had some advice to help you push through it, but alas, I am on the exact same page.

I'm the same really. Sometimes I stand over the paper for hours and nothing comes but sometimes I can't stop writing and the smallest distraction ruins me.

And I have this really bad habit of stopping mid-sentence and then I can't, for the life of me, remember what I was trying to say.

Those gifs really helped with effect xD and I don't think I have a "zone." Wen I write it's like I'm sneezing on the page. I can't really control it. Haha

I should work on that more. Lol another problem of mine is that I procrastinate too much sometimes and get distracted easily. :S

I used to, but once I had my son I had to learn to change that. Now I can type being fully distracted.. Though sometimes I will lose my groove but I get back in the game after a few hours

Same here. Every time I'm on roll my mom has to come in and check on me. I hate when it happens, it's just awful.

Exactly! IT JUST COMES AND GOES ON WHIMS THAT YOU CAN'T CONTROLL AND I JUST~

Also same about the studying thing but I force myself to get back on track and loose the jig I had going. What a shame that is though for real.

And thanks I've been trying to get it right and stuff

It's really frustrating because the inspiration can just be so good, and then poof! it's gone. Sad

I also noticed when I stress too much on it, I usually don't write too much. But, when I randomly just decide to start writing (or late at night when I'm supposed to be finishing studying, ugh) that's when I write best.

Hope you can finish what you planned to write tonight!

I understand that completely, like the smallest Things can set me off, like my mom started playing music when I was intense writing earlier and I had to leave the room because she was harshing my vibes so terribly. When I got back to it it was kinda just gone. I go back and read what I'm doing from the beginning of the chapter or the new scene or cut sequence that I just started (lol wat) and it normally helps. But I find that I don't normally get my groove back :( like, I'm supposed to double update tonight on a fic I just started and idk I think I'm gonna let someone down because I told them that I was planning to and now idk if I'll be able to do it. That's the worst feeling.

I found this tumblr post when I was writing earlier before I got writer's block again. It's a list of different types of scenes you might be writing and the music to go with it to get you in the mood.

    Here's the url:
    effessdee.tumblr.com/post/75422798442/fuckingtomatoes-music-to-influence-you-to

if you want to check it out and if you're into writing with music on. Hope it helps! :)
