We usually make buttercream, but we've made cream cheese and a sour cream frosting (chocolate sour cream, you could use a light sour cream if you would prefer, it's actually pretty good). I'm sure I can write up something for either/both.

As for cake like cookies, that's no problem. You typically need cake flour, which isn't hard to come by at all, it's also pretty cheap. I can write up a madeleine recipe, it's a buttery cookie, cake like, very good, it's made in a special pan, though. I can also look into more for you guys. Right off the top of my head, it's hard to think of anything specific, but there are plenty out there.

Any good fluffy/cakey cookie recipes or advice on how to make fluffy cookies? Also any good light frosting recipes? Or cream cheese frosting?
