I think it might be down to exam season... I've noticed a lull around this time every year I've been on this website

I don't get ten alerts. . .ever. XD
I'm with kitch on this one.
I feel the dead-ness this is partially my fault (and people like me) because I'm such a lurker.

Herbology, lithomancy, creatures whose souls are made from mithril. Animals whose eyes can paralyse or rejuvenate, betray or condemn. Old castles, overgrown causeways, rope bridges and death magic. I like the fable side of fantasy stories, the side with the stories and the creatures and the color. I've never understood minerals, so I make up my own.

Herbology eludes me. Stones and their mystic proprieties I can do. I also love the ancient mythologies. I have several books covering mythologies around the world. I lean favor toward the Greco-Roman stories, while a friend of mine shows most of his affection for Norse (due in part of the Avengers movies). Gemstones are amazingly easy for me. My mom and grandmother actually buy me rings at psychic conventions to help me with my problems. The last one they bought me was Hemitite, I believe, and it was to help me focus. Yet for whatever reason, my family can't begin to understand my fascination with supernatural creatures.

The sorts of magic I write about (when I do write it) are more sorcery-centric, lots of death and betrayal and villages in deciduous heavens. Magic gems, herbology, caves and vines and moss and ancient stories. I love it, but I cannot write it to save my life.

Me too. I write for adults though, not teenagers.

Haha, if you insist. I love magic, too. I wish I could do more magic-centered pieces, but the demographic I want likes romance so I'm stuck with it. They also want the guy to have the elusive (and perhaps non-existent) eight pack. I've met maybe one guy with a six pack and he's my asshole friend that I'd rather slap so hard his head pops off than sleep with.
Teenage girls, man. They drive me up a wall.

Now you're just being sweet. I doubt you'd even heard of me considering you said you don't read romance, and that's predominantly what I write. No Sci-Fi in this corner of Mibba. Just magic-induced romance.

I thought you meant all at once and I was thinking "well damn, James is too famous for words." I am unable to let my alerts build up. You're still famous. Con

I vaguely remember you from before, actually. It's been lazy around here. No one comments on other peoples' writing, no one cares what you had for dinner. I miss when you could make one post in WAYT and the entire site had something to say in reply.
