Does Comment Swap Even Work? - Comments

Comment swap feature does work for me but the problem is that it does give you random stories and I finally gave up because I was getting stories that were updated 2-3 years ago with users who haven't been on in months. I really wish we had a good comment swap system going because I love discovering new stories and I also love getting feedback (but who doesn't?)

If it ever starts working for you, don't expect those exact people to give feedback back because to my understanding stories are assigned randomly. So if it actually worked, you would be assigned a random story, and once you commented a random person would be assigned yours (oh dear I hope this makes sense).

Anyway, you're not the only one having this problem. A lot of people are. I'm not getting comments back either and every time I try the system it gives me the same story over and over again even though I commented on it multiple times.

I've left a few comments, but never received anything back on my old account.

I know there's something wrong with it plus I don't even know how it works. Like, you post a comment but how does the other person know they have to comment back? Seems like it's just a shot in the dark.

But you can try posting a comment swap blog asking for a comment swap.
