@ man.down Oh my gosh, I just wanted her to stay with Park and his family! AND THEN WHEN SHE DOESN'T EVEN WRITE BACK OR CALL OR OPEN HIS STUFF, IT JUST MAKES ME SO SAD.
Like why Eleanor? Why? You could have called! Or wrote! He could have visited you occasionally! WHY?!
And then nothing happens for a year later, just, oh my gosh.
I found the book incredibly cute. Especially the comic book part. Just .
@ DarkestStorm I know! Oh, god. I cried too. And I also laughed and teared up when Park's dad agreed to let him drive Eleanor, but he had to use the truck because I don't know. It was just so cute to me. But, ugh. I need that book in my life again.
@ ilana wexler. That's good to hear. I'm so anxious to eventually read it.
@ man.down Oh my gosh, so many freaking feelings. The beginning of the book is so cute! And yeah, her stepdad is a complete asshole, god I hate him. The ending, oh my heart, the ending. I cried a little. I'll admit it. I really like the book. I knew something was going to happen to lead to her leaving, because yeah, those kinds of books are always bittersweet. And the beginning, before the first chapter, oh god, why'd the author have to add that part there?
It's so sweet, like I love it. Her stepdad [if I remember correctly?] is a total douche, and then it's like the ending. It's so terrible but so lovely.
@ ilana wexler. Rowell's pretty good. I've been wanting to read the book and Fangirl since they came out, but I finally got the chance to read one. I also really want to read Attachments and Landline when that one comes out.
