@ SmilingScarlet I didn't know that! But I agree, especially older people in my experience. And by the way, I'd totally read it if you do write about it!
@ Lunacy My dad's friends all talk about them, and we were all scared like crazy but the stories are gold, and I hope to make it a story on here one day!
Oh, damn! I just researched lechuza-witches and found this. Quoting: "It is said that when Lechusa locates her prey, she perches herself in a hidden area, and will then commence making strange whistling sounds or an eerie sound resembling the crying of a newborn baby." OH MY GOOOOOD. I'm so scared now. haha, I should really stop researching about this, but I can't help it. It's so interesting By the way, that's so creepy! They actually saw her?

My grandmother is that way too! It's so weird how older people always seem to be scared of talking about them. In my family they rarely mention anything paranormal much, especially anything that involves witches. I know! It's so creepy! I have an uncle (not blood-related) whose mother got killed in a bizarre car accident that made no sense, and his family linked it to witchcraft because they found it burried in her front yard a couple days after she died
Oh my gosh! My grandparents hate talking about witches because they've seen one before in the caves of Mexico. I have this deep fear of Mexican Witches because of everything I heard. I remember seeing this video too of a witch in some cave. I honestly get chills just thinking about Mexican Witches and I guess that makes me a scared believer.
I'm screaming because we hear these legends in Mexico all the damn time! My parents call them lechusas...I hope that's right. But yeah, those things creep me out so bad!
One of my cousins told me how a bruja was on their roof one time, laughing and walking across it...
