Penpals. Do You Have Any? - Comments

In fifth grade we were assigned a penpal. Mine was from Finland. We sent one letter each and that was that.

The penpal I have now is from Italy. We met on a penpal website. We never wrote each other letters but after a while we trusted each other enough to tell each other our full names so now two years later we're friends on Facebook. We talk quite often. Luckily I'm pretty decent at Italian. That's the language we speak since her English isn't the best.

I used to have three penpals in middle school. One was from China, another Japan (I think) and maybe another from China. Either way, they were all from Asia.

I used to do this volunteering and went to this stuff they had for middle school girls and one of the things we did was get international penpals.

I wish I still wrote to them, I don't think I ever wrote more than four letters. v.v How sad.
