I see. This is actually only the second time I've met someone offline so you know, I'm still fairly new to it. The other girl I met it was easy because we were both the same sort of person so.

My husband and I were the same way (we originally met online). We'd known each other for a long time online. But when we met face-to-face for the first time, it was a total game-changer, and we got to know each other on a different level. I realize it might not be that way for everyone, but it's just something I'm throwing out there to keep in mind because for a lot of people meeting face-to-face instead of online creates a whole new system of interactions and subtleties that let you get to know the person better than you possibly can online alone.

We do know each other quite well. We've been chatting for quite a long while. It's as if we are dating tbh.

Yeah, I'm generally not in favor of buying expensive jewelry for someone you don't know well/aren't actually in a relationship with, but that's just me. I know people who have gone "I want to impress this person I'm not dating so I'll get them a gift from freaking Zales" and it didn't end particularly well.

I think the first priority when you meet her should just be getting to know her. Even though you know her well online, we're all slightly different people in person and it will be a time to get to know another side of her and find out what kind of chemistry you two have in person, just make sure that you're both on the same page and everything before diving into the expensive-gift-giving, you know?

I'm no relationship expert by any means, but it's interesting that the word you tagged onto her was "shy." As a shy person, even if it's someone I care about, I'd feel very. . .not disrespected, but it'd be slightly uncomfortable if I were to accept something as pricey as a Pandora bracelet (and from my understanding, you buy the charms separately as with most brands that offer those bracelets) upon first meeting someone I care about IRL after talking online for awhile. Maybe you can purchase the bracelet but give it to her at a later time? Just a suggestion. I'm sure she'll love it either way but the timing, in my opinion, is important in terms of gift giving. Cute Good luck with meeting her.
