That's a really cool idea!!

The best gift I ever gave (as in the most meaningful) was on my friend's 18th birthday--I've known her for a very long time, so I bought two giant picture frames from Target and made them into poster-size photo collages of us throughout the years. Maybe if you did something similar for your boyfriend, it would work? It's both cheap and easy, it only takes an hour or two to do.
