  • Eve of Winter:
Jaime is growing on me a lot, I definitely want him to hook up with Brienne! Haha ;)

An interesting choice for favourite house, but justified! I hope we get to see more of the Tyrells in the future!

I love the Lannisters because they aren't good nor evil, they're rather grey. Jaime is growing on me a lot, I definitely want him to hook up with Brienne! Haha ;)

The Lannisters are by far the most interesting characters, simply because just when you think that one's evil or good, BAM - You no longer know. Both Jaime's and Cersei's chapters are insanely good in Feast, I just wish I still had the book so I could re read it all over again.

I feel sorry for Theon, even though I don't like his character much. I'm one of those weirdo's that actually likes Ramsey, although I hate the things he does. :( They are both just boys who were never loved really.

    I'll definitely check that out!
I love the Lannisters, so I look forward to reading Feast. From what I heard, Cersei goes on a downward spiral in Feast, and since she's such a layered character, it's going to be interesting reading from her POV!
I feel so sorry for Theon in the show. The episode I watched last night was the one in where they cut off his "member"!

Don't let the reviews deter you.
A Feast For Crows & Dance With Dragons happen at the same time, so each book only has half of the POV characters that you'd normally have. Feast focuses on all of the drama unfolding in King's Landing (Seriously, so worth it, Cersei's chapters are my favourite) and Dance focuses on Dany and Jon and some others. There is also an excellent Greyjoy storyline. It's very ponderous reading, long winded and occassionally boring, but once you get thru it - You'll see more plot lines intertwine and have more evidence towards popular fan theories. Dance was the most shocking to me, and left me wondering "well what now...", and feast just had me smiling like a madman.

So yeah, Pretty long and dull because you miss out on some characters for a whole book, but worth it in the end.

If you're having trouble finding storm of swords, you can always listen to the audio book - There is chapter videos on youtube for it :)

I'm still looking for the bloody third book! None of the bookshops have it so I'm just going to get them for Christmas on Amazon.
From what I've read, things start to go downhill after the third book. The reviews for A Feast for Crows and Dance With Dragons haven't been as good.

I read the books just after the second season started, so I was up to speed by the time it ended. I was totally blown away by Joffrey's death. I mean, Everybody wanted it, I just miss his off handed nastyness now, haha. He was slowly becoming a nice person I think, and if he had been allowed to live, I think Margaery would have been able to change him for the better. Although I much prefer Tommen on the throne.

Thanks for your comment! Yeah, and I was reading the second book at the time and I was like, "JOFFREY DIES!!?" After that, I just had to find out about everything.
    And I adore that line!

  • Really? Your first episode was the Purple Wedding!? That's so cool! Mine was when Ned Stark got beheaded. I love how we all seem to start on the most painful episodes, lmfao.

Seriously, I support you - Lady Olenna is excellent. I wish she was my grandmother.
