Well I think it went okay. She bought me a few mens t-shirts, but wouldn't let me look at jeans or trousers in the mens section. She also made a strange noise when I said I'd rather wear a suit to prom than a dress, but didn't kik up a fuss when I explained I'd bought a sports bra fe binding purposes.

I sure hope so. It's hard dealing with parents who aren't supportive. :/

I think that as soon as I've pointed out that I'm serious they might try and help more, maybe buy me a binder. Just have to wait until Friday >.<

Yeah, that can be really dangerous. It can bruise or break ribs if too tight and constrict your lungs. Real binders are really the only safe way, but they can be expensive! I hope you can get one somehow.

Thank you! Arms I used the top of a pair of tights for binding, but they're itchy so I have to wear something underneath it and it's wayyyyy too hot.

Oh, congratulations! Arms I sincerely hope everything gets worked out as quickly as possible. Get nice clothes, start hormones if you so wish, and never use anything but binders for binding. I'm working this out for myself, too.

Thank you! I'm lucky that when I attend church, I only have to stay for the children's message which is always just 'Jesus luvs ya bruh' and then I help out in the Sunday school. I haven't had the guts to say I don't believe in it all yet. I guess I'll have just have to wait until Friday to see if she really gets it. /:

I want to commend you on your bravery. :) I think it's a really brave thing to come out to your parents. So bravo there. I only hope that it's a bit smoother from now on.

I was going to go on a huge rant yesterday on the blog section after coming home from church the other day. The sermon was about homosexuals and why it was wrong.

I'm not religious in any way, I'm just forced by my grandparents....but I completely disagreed on his whole sermon and it made me livid on the things that he was saying. I strongly believe that people in this world need to be accepting of people who are struggling with the battle of trying to be accepted on being gay and people who are transgender.

I'm a full supporter and I only hope that your parents understand that you're being serious and that this is who you are!
