Thanks so much guys. I got offered the job with company 1 officially today, so I think I will take it. I just have to ring tomorrow morning and let the other manager know I won't be starting next week as planned

I think you should definitely go for the one that benefits you more. I know it sucks to have to call them and tell them that you accepted another job, but they took a long time to get back to you, and it doesn't really matter anyway. You have to do what's best for you. :)

Go with the one which pays more! No I'm kidding, but I would suggest going with the first job. You've already been at company 2 and how did that work out for you? Even though you'd be in a different branch, it's still all the same company! You have to ask yourself: if I were the CEO of this company, would I be proud of myself? Go with the first; you'll enrich yourself and others. :)

Go with the job you feel you would benefit and strive better in. If you feel that company one is better, than go with that job.
