I Am Officially Desperate for Autumn - Comments

I miss being Cool, but I'm the opposite on the clothing matter. It's hard for me to like long sleeves and sweaters. I'm all about dresses and shorts, hate pants. So I'm the one cocooned in blankets in the colder months because I couldn't be asked to wear my less cute clothes XD

It's 109 degrees where I'm at and looking to stay in the triple digits for the rest of the month, so I totally feel your pain

This summer's been hot and rainy. I'm definitely ready for Fall to come..

I feel 100%. The last two weeks I have been burning spiced pumpkin pie candles, baking pumpkin desserts and I even got out my faux fur blanket

I just want it to be autumn so I can wear pants and scarves and jackets and long sleeves and hoodies and boots and drink hot chocolate and spiced tea DAMNIT SUMMER GO AWAY

Mind if I ask roughly where you live? I'm in Minnesota. I shouldn't HOPE for summer to end so quickly, because I still feel like we're barely out of last winter--it just lingered, and on my wedding day in mid-May it was still only like 50 degrees. But I have never been one to handle heat well.

We had a big storm come through at the edge of a cool front the other day, so yesterday was actually tolerable. I went on a couple of long walks--one midday by the river, and one near midnight just around my neighborhood. I haven't been able to do that for most of the summer, and it felt wonderful to just enjoy being outside for once.

So glad someone agrees, haha. Oh man, walks without the death-feeling would be freaking amazing. It really has been an overall mild summer where I live, too, but the past week has been crazy. I wanted to hang around outside a bunch, but it's just way too hot. XP

I'm with you. I'm ready for autumn. I want to wear warm fuzzy sweaters and go on long walks without feeling like I'm dying from the heat and I want to drink hot mochas and. I just want the weather to cool off.

I shouldn't whine, because where I live this summer has been really mild. We've only had a handful of days that were really, unbearably hot. But still. I'm ready for it to be done.
