Oh cool, you're a fan! The story tag can be found here (and you have any work, please post it ) and the site even has a club if you'd like to come have a chat with other fans
1. I jot down the basic ideas I have, usually how the story gets started, a key event or two, and possibly an ending. I never go into great detail though - I just start writing and see where the characters and ideas take me! I think that's the best way to write too - too much planning and you're stuck to follow that plan, it's not exciting to see what twists and turns you come up with as you go, and you don't experience the adventure of it all. 2. Not really. I typically put on calm music if I need to drown out the noise of the neighbours though 3. Just pretty much everything in the Game of Thrones tag on the site, as well as a fan fic my friend is writing for me I'm subscribed to more original fics, I think.
1. I feel like an outline, even a basic one, helps me a lot when writing because I know exactly what's going to happen but I have some room to change things when I need to. 2. Take a few minutes to think about my story before writing just so I can have it fresh on my mind. 3. I can't recommend any since I don't read them.
