yes! I am like at least 3 diff kinds of that.

I have 2 jobs and got kicked out recently. I'm putting myself through school with out financial aid cause I'm not 24 and my parents refuse to put their info. I just saved and saved on top of that to buy myself a used car that I lucked in to for 950 it's pretty great running too.

Then I also have hospital bills I'm still paying off from early this year and I barely make each payment on like the last possible day. Phone bill plus rent which I'm very lucky my bfs fam is nice and doesn't charge me a lot or I really don't know where I'd be with out them.

Now saving for winter clothes cause it's getting cold and I live out of a suit case. And saving to register my car and get insurance. And saving to stop being a burden on his fam and get a place..... This is just nice... like someone gets it.

    Hail
This is possibly the best written blog I've ever read. It is so relateable, especially right now. I'm the 'work 40+ hours a week hours a week while barely having enough to stay afloat' broke. Especially right now because I'm looking at other jobs and I might be getting a new one plus a second one and just...bills and eating are both important, but it sucks to have to decide which I can do without this paycheck.

I'm so grateful for all these blogs you're posting. You paint a realistic picture of what it actually means to experience different levels of hardship in the US when so many are misinformed or just hang on to their prejudiced beliefs about the issues. Thank you.

I'm the 'I live with my parents, so I'm not worried about being homeless, but I have no extra income to help pay the bills' broke. And it sucks!

This is one of the best things I've read about being broke in a long time and I could relate to it on so, so many levels.

"A fantasy that's based on the myth that I'm broke because I spend unwisely, rather than the reality that I just don't make enough money to survive."

Much of my family believes that myth, and it's so frustrating. This is why people oppose raising the minimum wage, in part. This is why people oppose government assistance programs. Because they don't know what it's like to be poor, and they're so wrapped up in that myth that they can't be convinced otherwise. It makes me so angry.

I don't know that I've ever been able to relate to a blog so much as I can relate to this one.
