Exposure - Comments

I think the fact that Katie put me in her blog "Private Mibbians" which listed, as the title states, ~*~private Mibbians who don't (over? Not sure???)share in their blog posts. Of course, that's her opinion and it made me go because I am like that IRL unless I have formed a close bond with someone.

It's just a personality trait/flaw (depending on how ya view it, really) that I'm used to---in my opinion, I think I have a balance but to others, it's quite the opposite. I'm working on it, but I prefer not being as "overexposed" in my posts.

I'm pretty much an open book but there are a few things I don't talk about on here.

I'm 100% up front. I can't help it. I don't really have any friends in real life, so my friend's on here are the only one's that actually hear about my problems and such.

Some people are comfortable with it, other's arent. It's really all about your balance.

When I first created my profile here, I shared everything. My posts here were literally my diary entries. Like, I would type them up here and copy them into my diary later if I didn't feel like journaling.

The longer I'm here, the more I tend to shy away from that. I still get pretty personal, but I don't like to talk about problems as much, mostly because I don't want anyone to judge the people I'm having problems with based on my perceptions of their behavior when I'm upset with them.

I also never use real names. I refer to people by what they are in relation to me (my husband, my best friend, my roommate) or if that's inconvenient I assign them a letter and refer to them by that.

Outside of saying anything that might unfairly expose people I'm close to, though, yeah I'm pretty open about stuff on Mibba.
