I agree with this. I've been on here since spring 07 and you couldn't refresh a forum page or story page having at least five new posts. I think a lot of the "original" members left when "new mibba" happened. At first I was affronted by the new site, but now I've gotten used to it and love it. Also most of the randoms that were popular then, specifically in the fanfiction section (such as Green Day, MCR, Fall Out Boy, A7X, Panic! At The Disco) aren't here anymore. I also think some of it has to do with people growing up and for some reason not enough new people joining. But a lot of those original members came over from Dujo's other fan site (I came from INO, that site is pretty much dead now). I hope this site gets new life in it. I love and talk to a lot really awesome people on here. I honestly think part of it is that Dujo isn't on a lot, and I get he's got a life now, but I think he should get some people to help him co-run the site.

I think it's because all the members that were here a couple years ago that were very active are now getting older, going to college, getting jobs, starting families, stuff like that. Which leaves no time really for mibba. And as they get older and start leaving mibba, there really aren't that many active people that are taking their places. Of course, there are tons of people that join every day, but I don't think they're really as active as old members are.

Life just gets in the way of things. I used to love posting, commenting and interacting with so many Mibbians. Now, I just don't get to do that anymore.

Oh gosh I remember that and I miss it so much. Though my journals never really got that many comments, they all generally had at least one to three. Meh.

I remember profile commenting too, that was a cool thing that just isn't anymore.

I agree! I try to read and comment as much as I can but life happens and I just don't have much time invest on mibba as I used to.

And about the blog offering free reads and stuff, I used to LOVE whoring out my stories there. But then I feel like I just take without giving and I feel bad so I stopped. Sorry

I agree! Then again, I'm not one for commenting either, usually xD I guess I feel like such an outsider when I comment on something that someone I don't know posted... I don't know. But I do feel like there SHOULD be more comments on stuff, and whatnot...

It seems like you have to post a blog about Mibba or otherwise you won't get comments because no one cares to read about someone else's life.

I completely agree. I've been on here for many years, and it was amazing to come here, rant or simply write or just vent about things and have people be there to comment or share their stories with whatever. It was like a large friend group. And now after coming back of disappearing for a year and a half or so, it's completely sad and dead. No one really talks to each other.

I offered free comments on whatever story anyone wanted me to read and no one commented! Usually people on Mibba would raid the comments on a blog like that for free comments on stories!

Not sure what happened. I also feel like there is not enough original fiction like there used to be a few years ago when I was on. I remember all the great writers on here and how great their original stories were. They were way better than any teen book of today's.

It is sad. And I do wish we could bring it all back, but I personally feel powerless :(

I miss the interaction and the old members. I just miss it all. So I understand.

I wasn't apart of "old mibba" but I get what you're saying. I wish more people would comment on stuff; I try to, when I have something to say.

    Have fun bunny hunting! haha

I totally get what you mean. And, to be honest, I think the recs button play some part in it. People used to comment to show their support for what you are saying. And now they just rec stuff and it seems like the same thing. And, believe me, I have nothing against the rec button, I really don't. I love that feature. But I wish that Mibba could be like it used to be, where people were active and they interacted with each other more through comments and such. I totally get what you mean by missing Old Mibba, but still not leaving. I wish that Mibba could be like it used to be, but I still love this site to pieces. I would never be able to leave for good.
